Val –  is co-founder of Yoga Hotspot. Trained under Duncan Peak, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Annie Carpenter and Byron Yoga Centre, Val teaches a range of classes from our most powerful (Power) to our Beginners classes and has the special ability of drawing out of you whatever is hidden inside.This special gift makes her classes both challenging and fun to attend.Whatever level you choose to practice at, let Val’s classes challenge your body and nourish your mind. david David – is co-founder of Yoga Hotspot. Trained at Power Living Australia, David teaches his classes with emphasis on making the complex and hard seem simple and understandable. He provides a safe and nurturing environment for students who want to explore their limits before delving deeper in to advanced postures. Experience David’s warmth and supportive nature; his unique style and words of worldly wisdom. Meet David every day except Tuesday and Friday.
katherine wong Kat– Kat’s yoga journey began at Yoga Hotspot in late 2012, following her sister in law to class on a whim. Once discovering the joy of generous movement and relaxation, her curiosity with flow, breath and energy soon progressed to teacher training. Trained under Briohny Smyth and Dice Iida Klein of Bryce Yoga in their signature Fit, Flow, Fly Vinyasa style, Kat completed her course in 2014. Inspired by music, Kat continues to practice as well as teach at Yoga Hotspot. Meet Kat on Tuesdays as well as regular covers.
Judit – Judit is one of our most experienced teachers and has taught in several countries as well as Australia. Blending her background in Pilates; with her love of yoga and pole dancing, Judit focusses on alignment and core control in her classes.Meet Judit Wednesdays and Fridays.
Vanessa – Vanessa’s yoga journey began with Sivananda yoga while travelling in India many years ago. She completed Vinyasa style trainings with Byron Yoga Centre in Sydney and in Byron Bay, Embodied Flow in Sydney and Yin yoga training in Canada.  She encourages students to develop self-awareness, energy, and calm both on and off the mat. Emily – Emily is the newest member of the teaching team and has been a student at Yoga Hotspot for many years. A graduate of BodyMindLife Yoga in Sydney, Emily brings a freshness to her classes that shine with enthusiasm. Meet Emily on Wednesdays.

Yanyan – Yanyan started yoga for the physical benefits and like many others, discovered the spiritual wonders soon after. Qualified at Power Living, she teaches powerful and energetic classes full of fun and freshness. Enjoy her unique style – currently as a guest teacher on Wednesdays
Jackson’s yoga journey began with a lengthy recovery from an autoimmune illness. After his first class, he left feeling better than he had in years. Through regular practice his physical mobility and confidence began to return, he discovered the great sense of calm and renewed purpose.
Jackson’s classes are slower in pace, with a focus on linking breath and strong poses. Jackson believes classes should also be mentally restorative, accessible and enjoyable to all.
